Zoals ze in Amerika en de UK buitenwijken hebben, zo kennen we dat hier eigenlijk niet in het oosten van Nederland. Maar aangezien na onze straat de bewoonde wereld van Enschede toch echt ongeveer voorbij is, kun je stellen dat we zelf in “Suburbia” wonen, zij het dan een niet zo grote wijk. De foto hieronder geeft een mooi winters plaatje weer van mijn straat.
Suburbia or suburbs like they have in America and the UK is not very common in the eastern part of the Netherlands. But since our street is nearly the last before you really exit Enschede, you could say that we do live in “Suburbia”, although it’s a not so big neighborhood. The picture shows a nice winter weather picture of my street.
